In the wake of Prince Harry and Meghan's 2018 wedding, reports began to emerge of an argument between the the Princess of Wales and Meghan. At first, it had been suggested that Kate had been left in tears by a disagreement.
However, during the couple's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, Meghan set the record straight, insisting it was she who had been left upset. Later, in his memoir Spare, Harry further clarified the situation, saying that his wife was left "on the floor sobbing" after the argument between the two sisters-in-law.
