Meghan Markle has been described as "every broadcaster's worst nightmare" by journalist Dan Wootton after she was dumped by Spotify.
The Duchess of Sussex's podcast Archetypes was axed by the digital music streaming giant after just one season which consisted of 12 episodes, the Express reports.
The news came just weeks after Meghan was awarded Top Entertainment Podcast Host at the Gracie Awards with there reportedly being discussions to produce a second series of the show before it was cancelled earlier this month.
Speaking of the end of the Sussexes' deal, Wootton said: ”It's not as if Spotify didn't try to get things going – they even helped build a studio in the couple's enormous Montecito mansion, of which their contract helped secure their mega mortgage.
"In exchange, they had Meghan hounding the company's top executives with requests for last-minute changes to her own podcast. In other words, she was every broadcaster's worst nightmare."
His savage comments in the Daily Mail come after the Duchess of Sussex was also slated by one of Hollywood's top agents over the weekend.
