Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted putting on a loved-up display as they kicked off day two of the Invictus Games in the Netherlands on Sunday 17 April. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who briefly visited the UK earlier this week, have been enjoying their first public appearance in Europe since stepping back as senior royals in 2020. Indeed Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, beamed as they met with the competitors, including Lisa Johnston from Team UK, at the competition which supports military personnel and servicemen and women who have fought.
And while arriving at the athletics track at Zuiderpark, the parents to Archie, two, and Lilibet, 10 months, looked like the picture of love as they held hands in front of the watching crowds. At one point, the pair appeared to share a joke as they were snapped laughing and giggling with one another.
As the pair moved into the arena to watch a day jam-packed with games, the Sussexes remained at each other's side, with Harry putting a comforting hand on his wife’s knee. During the event, mum-of-two Meghan stunned as she wore a collarless white wrap around jacket, pairing the look with dark blue jeans and a pair of brown stilettos. Harry meanwhile looked equally relaxed and wore an Invictus Games fleece, a black polo and beige trousers.
