Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may not currently be on speaking terms with the senior members of the Royal Family but the Duke has maintained his long standing friendship with Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
The two cousins were spotted laughing and chatting together when Harry made his brief visit back to the UK for the King's Coronation in May this year.
Eugenie has also flown out to Los Angeles to see Harry in his new life in California where he lives with Meghan and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the Express reports.
In his tell-all memoir Spare, the Duke recalled introducing Meghan to his beloved cousin as he wrote: "I remember Euge hugging Meg, as if they were sisters.
"I remember [Harry's friend] Charlie giving me a thumbs-up. I remember thinking: If meeting the rest of my family goes like this, we're home free."
During a 2021 interview on The Ellen DeGeneres show, the Duchess also shared an insight into her and Harry's friendship with Beatrice and Jack as she told a story about a secret night out they had enjoyed one Halloween before her relationship with the duke went public.
She said: "The four of us just snuck out in Halloween costumes to just have one fun night out on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple."
The Sussexes' relationship shares a touching similarity to Eugenie and Jack's as both couples were wed in the same year at the same venue.
