Mason Mount is about to embark upon his first season as a Manchester United player and there will be hopes he can hit the heights of his best moments at Chelsea in a red shirt.
The 24-year-old England international became United's first signing this summer when he joined for an initial £55m fee from the London side. United got their man after Mount entered the final year of his deal at Stamford Bridge and had not signed a new contract at Chelsea.
Mount has featured regularly for United in their pre-season campaign. He is in line to make his competitive debut for the Reds when they open their Premier League season at Old Trafford against Wolves later this month.

During his time at Chelsea, Mount scored 33 goals and notched 37 assists in almost 200 games for the Stamford Bridge side. His most productive season came in the 2021/22 campaign, where he found the back of the net on 13 occasions and set up 16 goals in all competitions.
And reflecting on that season, Mount pinpointed his ability to provide assists as the area which he feels he needs to improve, as he naturally feels like he has goals in him. He believes setting up a goal can prove to be more of a challenge and could well be what he focuses on now he is at United.
