Mary-Kate Olsen is seeking a divorce from her financier husband Olivier Sarkozy after five years of marriage. But so far, her filing has not gone through because of issues related to COVID-19 and the fact that only filings about essential/emergency matters are being accepted by New York courts.
"The original filing was rejected by the New York County Clerk because they did not follow the essential matter procedure," New York courts spokesperson Lucian Chalfen told USA TODAY in an email.
