Last week, Married at First Sight UK 2023 witnessed one of the most eventful episodes of the season. The week concluded with some of the MAFS cast embarking on a day at the spa, which quickly escalated into a heated argument between Tasha and new bride, Erica.
Tasha, a long-standing member of the cast who has been married to Paul since the beginning, appeared to take issue with Erica expressing her opinions on other cast members, despite being a recent addition to the experiment. Although Erica often shared her views when prompted, her remarks were met with confrontation and icy glares from Tasha.
In response to criticisms of her behaviour on the show, Tasha took to her Instagram to offer her perspective and alleged that the argument between herself and Erica was edited by MAFS. She posted on her Instagram Story: "A bloody edit!" Tasha argued that many of her comments and reactions were not presented in chronological order and did not necessarily correspond to what was depicted on TV.
She explained: "I have so much to say.
This is an edit! So much of what you're seeing did not happen in the moment, the comments that were said - of course that was me - in the moment, and you'll see the rest of the journey but this is an edit." Tasha also pointed out continuity errors, which she used as evidence that clips have been edited and arranged out of sequence. She added: “Look at it! One minute Jay’s got a coat on and then she hasn’t.
Please remember, everyone is human and I don’t want these comments under my pictures, grow up.” In a show of support, Jay, another cast member, came to Tasha's defense via Instagram, describing her as a kind and caring person. He posted: “She’s [Tasha’s] the most kind caring person I know!! Trust me
