Marks & Spencer has shared more details about the highly anticipated opening of its vast new Trafford Centre store. The retailer has taken over the former Debenhams department store inside the Trafford Centre which is currently being transformed ready to open as an M&S megastore before Christmas.
Bosses have now given a sneak peek as to what the vast new store will offer when it opens its doors in "late November". They say they are planning a "show-stopping" new M&S, which will include a fresh "market-style" Foodhall as well as spacious clothing, home and beauty departments and a brand new M&S Cafe.
The 98,000 sqft store on Regent Crescent will be almost double the size of the current M&S store at the other end of the Trafford Centre on Peel Avenue. The existing store will close when the new site opens, and staff will transfer across - to join the 180 new members of staff who are currently being recruited.
