Mark Wright has come out fighting in defence of his marriage to Michelle Keegan after he faced more accusations that they’re living separate lives. The TOWIE star-turned-TV presenter was photographed looking loved-up with Michelle on holiday in Ibiza last week, demonstrating that they still make time for each other.
But with accusations of them spending too much time apart refusing to subside, Mark has hit back publicly. Pleading with fans to quit questioning his eight-year marriage with former Coronation Street actress Michelle, Mark, 36, insisted they are always having fun together, but they don’t share every moment with the world.
“We spend plenty of quality time together and we’ve had plenty of weekends away,” he said. “We have got stuff booked up.
We spend quality time together just like any other relationship and I’m not just saying that – we genuinely do.” He added that he could spend two solid weeks with Michelle at their £3.5 million Essex mansion but “no one will know that because I’m not necessarily posting about it”. One fan recently commented on a set of paparazzi snaps of the pair that Mark posted on Instagram, saying, “Where is the affection, seems you are friends rather than husband and wife.” The couple married in May 2015 and two years later Mark’s television career took a massive leap forwards when he became a presenter on the primetime American entertainment show Extra .The lucrative job saw him leave the UK and set up home in California for three years.
