Mario Falcone took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce that his wife Becky had given birth to their second child, a baby daughter.The former TOWIE star, 34, who already has Parker Jax, four, with Becky, also revealed the unusual gender neutral name the couple had chosen for their newborn who they welcomed on Monday- Cali Roux. Cali, which means cup, fairest, beautiful and lovely, is sometimes used as a shortened form of the name Calista and has Latin origins. According to the Bump, the name, which has become increasingly popular, was invented in the 20th century and has no confirmed history.
Meanwhile Roux, which has French origin and Latin roots, means russet or reddish and was once used as a nickname for someone with red hair. It is a name shared by the commune Le Roux in France as well as the synthpop singer La Roux and also refers to a mixture of butter and flour which is often used as a base for sauces.
