Mariah Carey, 49, has many reasons to be in a great mood! The pop icon took to Instagram on January 18 to post a series of pics with her 8-year old twins Moroccan and Monroe where they celebrated her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Mariah Carey is in disbelief after landing an induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame alongside The Neptunes, Eurythmics, and The Isley Brothers.

The Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, got a late present from Santa this week when she was announced to the Songwriters Hall of Fame class of 2020. Carey is now doing exactly what the rest of us would get up to: she’s celebrating.

It’s that time of year again where the Songwriter Hall of Fame announce the next class of inductees that will join the organization later this year. Some of our favorites are finally being recognized for their contributions to the music game.

The 2020 Songwriters Hall of Fame class has been revealed, and it includes several big names in the music industry. Mariah Carey will join the hall this year, as will The Neptunes (aka Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo). They join songwriter Rick Nowels, ‘80s duo Eurythmics, foundational group The Isley Brothers, and rock icon Steve Miller.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame 2020 inductees have been announced. Mariah Carey, Chad Hugo & Pharrell (the Neptunes), the Isley Brothers, Eurythmics, producer Rick Nowels, Steve Miller, and Motown songwriter Mickey Stevenson are among this year’s class of artists and songwriters, who will be officially inducted on June 11 during a ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

It’s one sweet day for Mariah Carey: the pop diva, who has co-written 18 of her 19 No.

Over the course of her illustrious career, Mariah Carey has broken a number of Billboard chart records. Just last week, when "All I Want for Christmas Is You" ranked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Jan. 4, 2020) for a third week, she became the first artist to top the chart in four separate decades.

The decade is coming to a close this week, with Mariah Carey once more ruling the charts.
