Maria Chiara Argiró has shared details of her new album Closer. The Italy-born, London-based electronic music composer will release the follow-up to 2022's Forest City on April 26 via Innovative Leisure.
"Closer," the title track out today, wraps existential concerns of inner peace and connecting with one's surroundings inside of a tense, gentle ascendent ballad. “This song explores the dream of navigating life, finding where you truly belong, and discovering freedom within this feeling," Argiró said in a press statement.

Paulet said of the video: “A woman relives her journey on this planet in the pursuit of belonging.
Only through the acceptance of the world around her, she can find our true self. Or, is it the other way round?”
