The 32-year-old actress said it was Barbie director Greta Gerwig‘s idea for the cast of the movie.

Margot said the sleepover also revealed something about her co-star America Ferrera.
“We all went to Claridge’s Hotel, which is a really gorgeous hotel. We all shared beds and had our pajamas, and ordered room service, and played games, and found out that America is exceptionally competitive.
“I am extremely competitive and nobody told me that it was a sexy Barbie sleepover,” America said. “So everybody was in like really pretty silky nightgowns and I was in like the most grandma floral twin set you can imagine.”
Margot added that America was got so competitive and when the other girls didn’t know the rules, she started “rousing” at the girls.
Last month, Dua Lipa dropped the song “Dance The Night” alongside a music video featuring stars from the movie including Margot Robbie.
