Manchester United have reportedly seen a bid rejected for Manuel Ugarte.
The Uruguayan has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, and Chelsea tried to sign him before he decided to join Paris Saint-Germain from Sporting CP last summer. He made a total of 37 appearances across all competitions in his debut season, with PSG reaching the Champions League semi-finals and winning the Ligue 1 title.
Despite moving to Parc des Princes less than 12 months ago, Ugarte could be on the move once again. According to Metro, the French giants are open to offers for Ugarte, and United, who are looking for a replacement for Casemiro, have had an initial approach rebuffed.

However, L’Equipe claims that PSG rejected an 'undisclosed fee' for the 23-year-old as it wasn't close to the club's valuation. But the Ligue 1 side are said to have made it clear they are willing to listen to 'improved offers' with several suitors interested.
Casemiro, meanwhile, is likely to leave Old Trafford after yet another underwhelming season. The club are also looking to balance the books, as he is their top earner on a reported £350,000-a-week.
Elsewhere, talkSPORT reports that Everton are interested in United duo Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who are entering the final year of their contracts. Wan Bissaka is the subject of interest from a number of clubs, including Galatasaray.
