Manchester United have reportedly offered Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele a contract ahead of his contract expiration at the Nou Camp.
Xavi is keen on keeping the Frenchman at his club beyond the summer but his player now has a decision to make. El Chiringuito journalist Dario Montero has claimed that United have tabled an offer of around £8.4m and £12.5m to the 24-year-old.
Dembele turned down a new deal at Barcelona earlier this year and fell out with the board after refusing to be sold in January as the club tried to reap some cash return on their £96m man. He has since become a regular under Xavi, putting in some eye-catching performances, providing 11 assists and scoring twice.

Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag may look to bring in West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen when he arrives at United, according to Fichajes. The striker has had a brilliant season for the Hammers, netting 16 times and assisting 11 more this season.
The report claims also on the Dutchman’s shortlist is Southampton's James Ward-Prowse and Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malacia. He is preparing for a revamp of the United squad with the looming exits of midfielders Juan Mata, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic.
