And now Bijlow - number one with the Dutch champions - has insisted he is happy in the Netherlands, even though he has ambition to go to a higher level one day.
"We’ll see," Bijlow told ESPN. "But out of respect for Feyenoord, I don’t want to talk about other clubs. At Feyenoord, the feeling is always good. It’s never a punishment to be here, I’ve always said that. I want to go for the highest achievable and one day I will definitely take a step. But, at the moment I play at Feyenoord."
When asked about the rumours around Bijlow, Feyenoord manager Arne Slot said earlier this month: "I am aware of how concrete it is. But I am not the person to go public with it. I assume that they will not leave, because we (would) like to keep our team together.
