Manchester United supporter's group 'The 1958' has announced fresh plans to protest against the Glazers' ownership of the club amid ongoing takeover uncertainty.
The fan group has urged those attending Saturday's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford to partake in a 60-minute sit-in after full-time, as they continue to voice their anger over the American family. It has been nine months since the announcement was made that they would 'explore strategic alternatives' for investment, paving the way for a buyout.
Alongside a short video announcing the protest, The 1958 wrote on their X account: "They lie to us. They deceive us. They betray us. Our History, our Dignity, our Integrity.
"This ownership stole it all. Rise up, unite and fight to get it back. Doing nothing will achieve nothing. 60-minute sit-in after Forest. Be on the right side of history."

After months of silence, media reports began to surface earlier this week suggesting Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani had won the takeover race. But despite submitting his last offer 11 weeks ago, the Qatari banker is no closer to understanding his position than at the start of summer.
