Former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan has vowed to return to Old Trafford and watch the Reds alongside the fans in the Stretford End.
The Uruguayan striker scored 17 goals in 98 appearances for United during his two-and-a-half year stint in the North West where he won the Premier League and the FA Cup under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Forlan is adored by United fans and passionately remembered for his brace against rivals Liverpool at Anfield which led to the infamous song for the 42-year-old.
Since his departure in 2004, he has since returned once on Sir Alex's 25th anniversary in 2011.
But he is looking forward to returning to the stadium again and hopes to take in a match alongside supporters at Old Trafford.
"I know that there are going to be goosebumps," he said speaking to ManUtd.com.
"Yeah, I would love to. I am very close friends with Andy Mitten [journalist and supporter] and we always talk, and every time he says: 'You have to go to the top of the stand and be with the fans.' The Stretford End! Maybe we can do it.
"I would let my family in the VIP, and maybe I can go with some of the fans and they can take care of me in the Stretford End.
"With the pandemic, it's sometimes a little bit difficult to travel. But I want to go and I will go. I will try to go.
"I don't know if I'll go myself or with my wife and kids, I don't know. But I know that it's something that I have to do."
