A man has died after 'taking unwell' in a Moray supermarket. Emergency services were called to a Tesco on Nairn Road, Forres, at around 12.15pm on Sunday January 8, following reports that a man had been found unwell.
Ambulance crews attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.15 pm on Sunday, 8 January 2023, police were called after a man was found unwell within a supermarket in Nairn Road, Forrest. Paramedics also attended, however, the man died at the scene.
"There would appear to no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
Tesco has been contacted for comment.
