Stacey, of Devereux Road, Wiltshire, was arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He appeared at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 5 October where he was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison.
Stacey had pleaded guilty to the offences at an earlier hearing.
Detective Sergeant Laura Fox said: “With the strength of the evidence we were able to gather, Stacey had little choice other than to plead guilty to the offences put to him.
“His conviction and the significant custodial sentence handed to him by Chester Crown Court are the results of great work by the investigating officer, PC Harry Bayley of Macclesfield Area Investigation Team, and all other officers involved in the case, which shows the value of police stop checks.
