Jack Grealish is set to return for Manchester City's crunch games in March after a scan revealed a better injury diagnosis than expected.
There were concerns inside the club this week that Grealish could be out for three to four weeks with the groin injury that forced him off after just 20 minutes in Copenhagen on his first start in over a month. There was then a delay to assess Grealish due to a malfunctioning machine at the City Football Academy.
However, tests have since revealed that Grealish is only set to be out for about ten days with the problem. That could see him return before the end of February - City are away to Luton in the FA Cup on the 27th - but should definitely mean he is available for the home derby against United on March 2nd.

City then have Liverpool away, Brighton away (although that could get moved with the FA Cup quarter-finals set for that day) and Arsenal at home in a month that is seen as crucial for their hopes of winning a fourth straight Premier League title. Pep Guardiola's side dropped two points at home to Chelsea on Saturday to mean they no longer have the opportunity to go top on Tuesday by beating Brentford at home as they sit four points behind Liverpool.
Grealish had been out of favour at City with Guardiola demanding a return to the standards he set last season to help win the Treble, but only needed 20 minutes in Denmark to show why he makes the team better when he plays. Bernardo Silva was also injured in the Champions League game, but was able to be in the squad against Chelsea and came off the bench after only suffering a knock.
