Manchester City will be hoping that Kevin De Bruyne will be fit enough to feature in today's Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth.
The Belgian playmaker was an unused substitute in City's 1-0 win over Brentford on Tuesday night, despite playing the full 90 minutes against Chelsea seven days ago. De Bruyne had missed the majority of the 2023/24 season due to a recurring hamstring injury picked up on the opening day of the season against Burnley, seeing him miss 29 games for Pep Guardiola's team in all competitions.

After being without De Bruyne for the whole of the first-half of the season due to a hamstring problem, Guardiola took no risks with the 32-year-old, who is suffering from 'slight niggles'.
Following Tuesday night's win, De Bruyne has trained, but on his own. He didn't train on Wednesday before training by himself on Thursday, despite the squad having a day off. It remains to be seen whether he took part in team training on Friday.
The City boss has been reluctant to give too many details on De Bruyne's fitness. After the win over Brentford, he said: "He has niggles in his hamstring area and I didn't want to take any risk with him.
"He's OK, he's OK, it was more about prevention. He said he didn't feel comfortable and the doctors said not to take a risk."
