A mum who was nearly twice the legal drink drive limit didn't realise she'd crashed her car after driving home from celebrating her daughter's birthday.

A man was assaulted after a car smashed into seven other vehicles in south Manchester.
A huge emergency services response was sparked after the smash on the A6 Stockport Road in Longsight just before midnight last night (Tuesday). Eight vehicles were involved altogether - a moving car, then seven others that were either parked up or travelling the opposite way, police said.
A man in one of the vehicles got out and was reportedly assaulted at the scene, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police added. He was taken to hospital and remains there in a stable condition.

Two men - aged 18 and 46 - were arrested on suspicion of assault. They remain in custody to be quizzed by detectives.
Several emergency services crews rushed to the scene of the crash last night, including police officers, paramedics and firefighters. A cordon was put in place between Slade Lane and Dickenson Road.
Pictures taken at the scene appeared to show two damaged black Audi cars that were involved in the crash. One of them was left completely flipped over onto its roof.
Stockport Road was closed for several hours this morning as accident investigation work was carried out at the scene. It was reopened at around 7.30am.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Officers were called shortly before midnight last night (29 March 2022) to a report of a road traffic collision on A6 Stockport Road in Longsight, Manchester.
"A total of eight vehicles were involved, one was a moving vehicle and the others were either parked or travelling in the opposite direction.
"A male occupant from one of the vehicles got out of the vehicle and was reportedly assaulted shortly
