An 89-year-old man has been rushed to hospital following a serious crash in Tameside.
Emergency services raced out to Stockport Road in Gee Cross, Hyde, after 1pm today (Saturday) after receiving reports of a crash.
Witnesses reported seeing police, fire crews and paramedics all in attendance at the scene, close to the Joshua Bradley pub.

The One Show’s Angela Scanlon has been rushed to hospital following a serious four-car crash involving a private ambulance, according to reports.The presenter is said to have been travelling in an Addison Lee private hire car when the crash occurred in Bishops Avenue in North London. Angela, 37, was reportedly treated by medics at the scene before being transferred to hospital at 9:30am on Tuesday.
