Rutherglen at the weekend. A man and a woman, both aged 32, were attacked while walking on Cathcart Road, near to its junction with Farie Street, around 12.05am on Sunday.

Dumbarton. The men, aged 57 and 58, were walking on Castle Street around 1.20am on Sunday, September 12.

Glasgow. Emergency services were called to Shandwick Street in Easterhouse in the early hours of Wednesday morning following reports of a car blaze.

Edinburgh yesterday afternoon. The woman had to be rescued from the tracks after she had fallen from one of the platforms.Edinburgh Live reported that police, fire and paramedics all attended the incident, which took place just after 2pm yesterday.

Fife. Emergency services were called to the collision in Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Road at around 8.45am on Wednesday.
