Dear Class of 2020 will be hosted by the former First Lady and will include commencement speeches by her, Barack Obama, BTS and Lady Gaga amongst several others. As per Variety, the star power has doubled up now with the inclusion of Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato and more.

In recognition of the graduating high school students who cannot attend physical ceremonies amid the coronavirus pandemic, multiple television networks airedGraduate Together: America Honors the Class of 2020 onSaturday. The event featured appearances by LeBron James, who executive produced the special, along with Kevin Hart, Jonas Brothers, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, Lena Waithe, Ben Platt, Zendaya, Olivia Wilde and more, with a commencement speech from former President Barack Obama.

Former President Barack Obama on Saturday criticized U.S. leaders overseeing the nation's response to the coronavirus, telling college graduates in an online commencement address that the pandemic shows many officials "aren't even pretending to be in charge." Obama spoke on Show Me Your Walk, HBCU Edition, a two-hour event for students graduating from historically black colleges and universities broadcast on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

To make up for the cancellation of graduations around the country, one very special guest showed up to help send the students off into the future.  Barack Obama  was a proud empty nester when his daughters  Malia  and  Sasha  went off to college – now he’s changing his tune. The former POTUS and his wife  Michelle Obama ’s daughters returned home from school due to the coronavirus in March. According to Yahoo, during a chat with former staffers, the 58-year-old dad revealed that life without sports is “driving him nuts,” but the upside of everything is that his two girls are “stuck having dinner with me.”

The couple read The Word Collector by Peter H. Reynolds and emphasized the importance of libraries. “It’s a fun book that vividly illustrates the transformative power of words, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did,” Barack said of the kid’s book.
