Diane Ademu-John (The Haunting of Bly Manor) has been tapped as the new showrunner for HBO Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood, Deadline has confirmed. She replaces Jon Spaihts, who stepped down in November 2019 to focus on writing the script for the new Dune feature film.

Jon Spaihts had previously been attached to run the series, but he stepped down in November 2019 to focus on writing the script for the second of the “Dune” reboot films.The show was ordered straight-to-series at HBO Max in June 2019.

Chip and Joanna Gaines opened up about the "low point" they went to after stepping away from their hit HGTV series "Fixer Upper" in 2017. The famous duo appeared on Thursday’s "Today" show to discuss the launch of their Magnolia Network, the TV venture they began after exiting their hit home renovation series at the height of its popularity in Season 5.

Chip and Joanna Gaines are in it for the long haul. The Fixer Upper stars revealed that divorce is simply “not an option” for them in an interview with Access Hollywood published on July 12. According to Chip, 46, that belief is rooted in the fact that he and Joanna, 43, are “not quitters.” The two have been married for over a decade, recently celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary at the end of May.

Chip and Joanna Gaines are stronger than ever. The Magnolia brand owners have been married for just over 18 years and are looking back after hitting the major milestone, revealing they’ve never considered calling it quits.
