Peggy Rose Lawrence has seemingly taking a swipe at ex Georges Berthonneau, just days after revealing that they had split.
The former couple, who were paired up together on last year's Married at First Sight, appear to have opted against remaining friends since calling time on their romance.
Taking to her Instagram Story recently, Peggy shared a post from MAFS dating expert Paul Brunson. Paul's photo showed a note stuck to a lamp post, which read: "Trust your instincts, value your self-worth and refuse to settle for anything less than you deserve." Eagle-eyed fans were quick to suggest that this could have been a reference to her split from Georges, especially when combined with Paul's caption.
In his original post, Paul had advised that it's "natural" to feel "overwhelmed" by "toxic people" in the dating world. Urging fans to change their viewpoint, he wrote: "While past experiences might have left their mark, they do not define you.
Each encounter serves as a lesson, guiding you towards wiser choices and healthier boundaries." Following Peggy's announcement that she and Georges had split, he claimed that he has been left blindsided by her statement. Georges shared that he was still "trying to come to terms" with life without his partner before going public with the news.
In an Instagram post, the TV star wrote: “Wasn't expecting a statement from Peggy regarding the situation. I'm heartbroken by our break up and also trying to come to terms with life without Peggy.
"I appreciate a lot of you have questions but I won't be talking about this situation as of yet. Also thank you for the messages of support." Georges further hit out at his ex-partner claiming that she made him "feel insecure" and that he "spent thousands" on
