Married At First Sight UK star Brad Skelly has been cruelly targeted by trolls after it was revealed he'd returned to work in a high street discount store following his television stint. Brad, 28, has returned to work in a Savers branch in his hometown Grimsby, with the store posting photographs of him on their official Facebook page in late November. The MAFS star, who also works as a model for brands such as ASOS and Shein, can be seen holding up products in the photos while donning a Savers fleece and lanyard.
Other snaps showed him with fellow members of the Savers team. MAFS fans have since mocked Brad for his job at the budget-friendly retailer, with some even commenting on his latest Instagram photos about his occupation. "Wearing that to savers Xmas do?" one person commented underneath a photo of Brad modelling a velvet tuxedo.
A second chimed in: "Experience stacking shelves at Savers in Grimsby….. Universe w**ker." However, some fans jumped to Brad's defence. One person said: "If people want to have their say about the show then fair enough, but let's never ridicule another person for doing an honest days work".
Brad's time on Married At First Sight proved to be controversial, with him eventually being asked to leave the experiment due to his 'controlling' behaviour towards wife Shona Manderson, 31. Brad and Shona's marriage started off well on the show with the pair having instant chemistry. However, as time went on things began to fizzle out and Brad came under fire for the way he spoke to Shona on the show.
The experts - Paul C. Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas - then asked the pair to exit MAFS due to how "toxic" their romance had become. Brad and Shona stayed together outside of the experiment
