It’s official: Keanu Reeves will star in the long-gestating adaptation of Erik Larson’s Devil in the White City for Hulu.

Angelica Ross is about to make history with her Broadway debut. Ross will become the first openly transgender woman to play a leading role on Broadway when she takes over as Roxie Hart in the long-running starting in September. Ross will step into the iconic role for a limited, eight-week engagement through November while also following in the footsteps of notable film and TV stars to take on Roxie, including Pamela Anderson, Mel B, Christie Brinkley, Erika Jayne, Brandy Norwood, Melanie Griffith, Robin Givens and many, many more. As Roxie, Ross will continue to break down barriers for the transgender community on stage.

The acclaimed play To Kill a Mockingbird will no longer be returning to Broadway and the show’s playwright Aaron Sorkin is placing blame on disgraced producer Scott Rudin.

Broadway’s long-running musical Chicago has cast Madam Secretary actor Erich Bergen in the role of Billy Flynn, producers announced today.

The Collaboration, Anthony McCarten’s hit London play about artists Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, will make its American premiere on Broadway this winter, with Paul Bettany and Jeremy Pope as the two painters.

Almost Famous, the stage musical based on Cameron Crowe’s 2000 film, will begin previews at Broadway’s Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on Oct. 3, ahead of a Nov. 3 opening night.

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Shannon, is set to make his directorial debut with Eric Larue, which is based on the Brett Neveu play. The play debuted at A Red Orchid Theatre in Chicago in 2002, where Michael Shannon is a founding member. Neveu is also adapting the script.
