‘Almost Famous’ Musical Sets New Broadway Opening Date, Lands Venue

Netflix will release its long-gestating drama about the real-life rescue of 12 boys who were trapped in a cave in northern Thailand on September 22. Thai Cave Rescue will show how the Wild Boars soccer team’s afternoon exploring with their 25-year-old coach went disastrously wrong when heavy rain trapped them inside, leading to a massive international recovery mission that engrossed the world.

Just several weeks after Adele said she stood by her decision earlier this year to postpone the Las Vegas residency, the British singer has announced the rescheduled dates: The “Weekends With Adele” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas will now take place from November 18, 2022, to March 25, 2023.

The move comes a month after SAG-AFTRA finalized and released a registry and pre-registry of accredited intimacy coordinators for film and television productions to use in nude and sexual scenes. SAG-AFTRA’s goal is to build the base of intimacy coordinators to a level that they will become available to all productions, and they are well on their way to becoming industry standard in Hollywood.

Insidious 5 has received a new release date today (July 21), with the new film arriving slightly earlier next year than expected.The new film will arrive in cinemas next summer, on July 7, replacing Madame Web, which was initially slated for a summer release but will now be moved to October 6, 2023.The fifth installment in the Insidious franchise sees series actor Patrick Wilson making his directorial debut.The Blumhouse-produced film, which was announced at the indie horror studio’s inaugural BlumFest in 2020, will pick up with the Lambert family 10 years after the events in Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013).Wilson, who portrayed Josh Lambert in the first two movies, will direct and star in the fifth film alongside Ty Simpkins (Josh’s son, Dalton).
