Mac DeMarco Announces Here Comes the Cowboy Demos Album

On March 13, Tim Heidecker hosted an eight-hour marathon episode of his podcast Office Hours. He was accompanied by Office Hours regulars like Vic Berger and Doug Lussenhop (aka DJ Douggpound) along with numerous guest callers. Quelle Chris has announced a new album that features Earl Sweatshirt, billy woods, Tune-Yards’ Merrill Garbus, Denmark Vessey, Homeboy Sandman, Pink Siifu, comedian Josh Gondelman, and more. It’s called Innocent Country 2 and it arrives April 24 via Mello Music Group. He’s also shared a new track from the record, titled “LIVING HAPPY” (featuring Chicago’s Joseph Chilliams and New Orleans-based rapper Cavalier).

The Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, known as CPH:DOX, will go digital this year in the wake of coronavirus concerns, the festival has announced.

Travis Tritt has signed a record deal with Big Noise Music Group, Billboard has exclusively learned. The country singer has teamed up with the Los Angeles-based label for the release of his forthcoming full-length album due out later this year.“We get to work with a lot of great artists at Big Noise, but truthfully I never thought we’d have the honor of working with someone of Travis’ stature,” Jon Cohen, president of Big Noise Music Group, tells Billboard.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- Max von Sydow, the self-described “shy boy”-turned-actor known to art house audiences through his work with Swedish director Ingmar Bergman and later to moviegoers everywhere when he played the priest in the horror classic “The Exorcist,” has died. He was 90.

Lil Baby’s performance at Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham, Alabama last night (March 7) ended in chaos as one person was shot, The Birmingham News reports. Police have confirmed that one person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries; there’s no suspect in custody.

The duo was seen happily shopping at a retail store called Clandestina, which shared multiple photos of the actors to its Instagram Story on March 6.
