Two people have been 'seriously injured' after an Audi hatchback with SIX people inside crashed into traffic lights on a slip road of the M60 motorway, police said today.

A driver has been prosecuted after coming within metres of a police vehicle dealing with an incident on the M60.
Despite the police vehicle having all its rear lights illuminated, the driver failed to spot it until coming ‘within 15 metres’ of the patrol car, police said.
Officers have said they are ‘thankful’ to have finished the shift uninjured after the incident on Sunday evening (June 16).

A picture has been shared in a post on X by officers from North West Motorway Police this morning (Monday) of the car coming dangerously close.
