Spain manager Luis Enrique has previously expressed his intent to manage in England amid Manchester United links.
With Ralf Rangnick set to depart his role as interim manager upon the conclusion, a list of managerial candidates has been drafted and it includes Enrique, Julen Lopetegui, Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino. The Ajax boss is said to be the preferred option for United right now and has already been interviewed for the position with he club planning for further talks.
But Enrique has a good reputation and was a Champions League-winner during his time at the helm with Barcelona. In recent seasons, he has been linked with the Arsenal post but, after a brief spell away from the tactics board, he returned to the role with his national team.

Speaking in 2013 to FourFourTwo, he said: "I’d like to manage in England at some point. My wife wouldn’t like the weather, she’s from Barcelona and likes the sun.
"It would depend on the team and the football they played," he added. The 51-year-old led his country to the Euro 2020 semi-final where they were beaten by eventual winners Italy and will be looking to bring success back to the nation that enjoyed world dominance between 2008 and 2012 when they go to the World Cup in Qatar in November.
