Love Island 2022 is ending on August 1, and there are five couples left battling out to be crowned this year's winners. The remaining couples are: Dami Hope, 26, and Indiyah Polack, 23; Luca Bish, 23, and Gemma Owen, 19, Paige Thorne, 24, and Adam Collard, 26; Andrew Le Page, 28, and Tasha Ghouri, 23; and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, and Davide Sanclimenti, 28.
In a shock twist reveal for Friday night's episode, the Island couples will be forced to turn on each other, with each couple having to vote on who they think are the two least compatible couples in the villa. The news is revealed by Indiyah who receives a text, and the Islanders are told that they must submit their decisions by text without discussing them with the other couples.
The ten Islanders have become extremely close on the show, with many of them being original Islanders from Day One, and so making their decisions doesn't come easy. Ekin-Su is the most matter of fact, and as they deliberate, she tells Davide: “Let’s be real, this is not friend island OK.” As Paige worries over the decision alongside her partner Adam, she admits: “It’s not nice at all.” As they send their choices via text Indiyah asks boyfriend Dami: “Are we sure?” Also on Friday night's episode, as the Islanders gear up for Monday night's final, viewers will get to see Luca Bish and Gemma Owen, as well as Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri go on their romantic dates.
Three of the five couples went on dates on Thursday night's episode of the show, and ITV2 went all out with the budget, sending Paige and Adam on a boat trip and Dami and Indiyah on a street fiesta with an intimate dinner. Ekin-Su and Davide enjoyed arguably the most romantic of the dates intimate dinner date in a colosseum-style
