As you can imagine, being crowned winners of Love Island creates a busy schedule the minute you set foot back in the UK and that has been exactly the case for 2023's champs, Jess Harding and Sammy Root. Life has been non-stop for the pair but the cute couple seemed to have nailed the whirlwind lifestyle they've now been thrown into. OK! has a peek at exactly what our favourite duo have been up to since leaving the island.
It's a family affair On arriving back in the UK, it was time for the pair to meet one another's close-knit families. Although they had a brief introduction in the villa, this time they joined forces as a massive group to enjoy the long-awaited family BBQ that Jess often spoke about in the villa. Sausages and burgers were in full flow as the blended group laughed and got to know one another.
Jess's mum admitted that Sammy can "come around anytime" so he has clearly won her over after her original doubts over his loyalty. They also went axe-throwing with Jess's friends where some of Jess's friends grilled Sammy a little, before embracing him into the group. The reunion party White teeth smiles aplenty, and with an impressive Hollywood-glam hair flick from Jess, the pair looked radiant and in love as they attended the reunion party at the weekend.The winners looked relaxed as they looked back over their time in the villa with host Maya Jama, with Jess wowing fans with her figure-hugging chocolate brown dress.
