Gemma Owen, the daughter of England football ace Michael Owen, has previously complained about her millionaire father cutting off her pocket money when she was 18. The now 19 year old, who is a contestant on this year’s Love Island, was less than impressed when her father told her to “get a job” in a pub, to earn her own money. Michael and international dressage rider Gemma appeared on Emily Dean's Walking The Dog podcast, and as they took a stroll in Wiltshire, Michael spilled that his eldest daughter was ‘fuming’ at his suggestion that she find work.
