Ekin-Su Culculoglu has candidly opened up about her split from ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The ex-Love Island star revealed there's "no bad vibes" between the former couple. Ekin-Su, 29, won Love Island 2022 with Davide, also 29, and the pair went on to date for 18 months. However, she announced in January they'd parted ways after many "ups and downs".
In Tuesday's (5 March) episode of CBB, Ekin-Su confided in Fern Britton about her time on Love Island and finding love with Davide. She hinted at the reason behind their split, admitting there was a point when "everything was too much" post-Love Island. "I went in there and thought I'd leave in two weeks cause I was just myself.
It was a lonely place in there. And I found love on the show, which was great at the time," she told Fern, 66. Ekin-Su continued: "I had great memories with that person [Davide], I've got no bad vibes for him, I really don't.
I will treasure all the great times I had and I hope he's fine and he's well. But there was a moment after that, everything was too much, the brand deals, the fame, people wanted me to be a certain person and I didn't know who I was." The Turkish actress went on emotionally reveal she struggles to show her "vulnerable side" in public. She told Fern she finds it "overwhelming" to be a "role model" all the time.
The 29 year old continued: "People look up to me as this confident person, but I feel like there's this vulnerable side that I hide that I don't show to the public. It's usually that side where I'll do an appearance and I'll go home and cry. "It's overwhelming to always be this strong role model to girls all the time and I think there's stuff going on in my life that I can't open up
