Love Island star Callum Jones has branded Jess Gale “deceitful” following allegations she made about him in a recent interview.
The pair met on Love Island: All Stars earlier this year, and appeared to be dating when they left the villa. However, Jess, 24, later implied that Callum, 28, had cheated on her, saying that she had discovered something about him that left her “shocked”. Reports suggest that Callum had a fling with fellow former Love Island star, Anna-May Robey, and that he ended up having a “huge argument” with Jess at his ex-girlfriend Molly Smith’s Boohoo launch party in Manchester.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Callum tells his side of the story as he hits back at Jess, claiming that the pair were “never exclusive” and that they had ended their romance before the party in March… Hi, Callum! Jess has suggested that you cheated on her. What’s your take? A lot of context is missing from the situation that Jess and I were in. We had a good time on Love Island: All Stars and it was a good experience.
After we left the villa, we saw each other a couple of times and it was a casual thing, but we were never exclusive and we were never boyfriend and girlfriend. I was always single and she was always single and we actually had a conversation about where we were at, prior to the Boohoo event. The words were, “I’m single, you’re single.
If you don’t want to speak to me, you don’t have to. Let’s just take a step back.” Now, I’ve seen articles saying I’ve cheated on Jess, but I would never disrespect her in that way. We never had a conversation to say we were exclusive – in fact, we had the opposite conversation, so there was no more to our situation than that.
