The new series of Love Island starts on Monday 3 June, and once again a group of young single people will jet out to Majorca to stay at a luxury villa in the sun where they will go on dates and complete challenges while hoping to find love – and have the chance to win a share of the £50,000 prize money. While the full list of contestants is expected to be announced on Monday 27 May, one person heading to the villa looking for love has been revealed as Nicole Samuel, a model described as “absolutely gorgeous” by one of her Instagram fans.
“Absolutely beautiful as always,” wrote another, while a third commented on Nicole’s most recent post with the words: “Definition of a princess.” The 23 year old from Aberdare in Wales is an account manager, and she already has a fan in former Love Islander Scott Van Der Sluis, who follows her on social media. Footballer Scott joined the series last year, and told ITV at the time: "Football is all I’ve ever done, all I’ve ever known.
So this is a new and exciting opportunity for a change up in life." Scott entered the villa as a “bombshell” on day 11, and exited on day 52. He went on to appear in Love Island USA and the spin-off Love Island Games.
There has been lots of speculation about who may be joining model Nicole in the villa this year. Rumoured contestants include influencer Patsy Field, make up artist Samantha Kenny, and Welsh rugby player Ciaran Davies.
The new series will premiere on 3 June at 9pm across the ITV channels, on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX, STV and STV Player and will then continue on ITV2.
The companion series will also be back, with host Maya Jama welcoming panellists each week to chat all things Love Island. The Love Island: Aftersun podcast will have Indiyah Polack hosting
