Love Island fans were left unimpressed just moments into the new series as the show made its highly-anticipated comeback on Monday night. The hit ITV2 reality series is back with a bang, as a fresh batch of singletons embark on their quest for romance. But as Love Island graced our screens once again, viewers didn't hold back in airing their grievances as the drama unfolded.
Monday's episode marked the grand entrance of the first batch of boys and girls into the iconic Love Island villa, all eager to find their summer soulmates. Yet, no sooner had the show begun than fans took to social media to vent their frustration with the show, hosted by Maya Jama. One viewer exclaimed: "17 mins in and we have ad breaks? ! Another season, another set of disappointments #loveIsland," while another lamented: "definitely did NOT miss these 50 min ad breaks #loveIsland." A third chimed in: "ITV.....yall about to p**s me off with these ads! It feels like we just got here #loveisland," and a fourth commented: "ITV has the longest ads ever #LoveIsland." Another fan questioned: "WHY WAS ADS 6 MINUTES LONG? ? ? #Loveisland." This year, the ITV show has added a new twist, in which Maya told the girls to rank the boys in order of who's most likely to be boyfriend material.
Munveer was picked as most likely, while rugby player Ciaran was put last. This article contains affiliate links, we will receive a commission on any sales we generate from it. Learn more Shop Love Island x Boots with OK! Shop Love Island x Boots Love Island 2024 has begun.
