Love Island bombshell Davide Sanclimenti picked Michael Owen's daughter Gemma during Tuesday's explosive recoupling. During Monday's opening episode, new boy Davide, 27, made his entrance as the first bombshell of the 2022 series of the ITV2 show.
And after a game of dares, Davide received a text which read: "Davide, in 24 hours you will couple up with a girl of your choice, leaving one boy single and vulnerable #italiansnack #ciaobella." Over the course of Tuesday’s episode, Davide could be seen chatting to various singletons within the villa as he tried to make his tough decision regarding who to choose. After an agonising consideration, Davide received a text on Tuesday's episode asking all Islanders to gather at the fire pit for his decision. Standing before his fellow Islanders at the fire pit, Davide said: "Naturally, it’s not been easy to choose because it’s only been 24 hours.
It’s difficult to try and know everyone and try to make the right decision." He said: "There's not just attraction, yes she's a stunning girl, I felt we had a good time and I'd like to know her more." In a nail biting conclusion, Davide then picked Gemma, 19, leaving her partner Liam single in the villa. However, it was revealed in another twist at the end of the show that two new bombshells are entering the villa with the public picking who they go on dates with.
At the end of the episode it was revealed that Afia Tonkmor, 25, who is a Lounge Host at a Private Members Club, would be entering. With Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, who is an actress, also joining Afia in the villa with the public asked to vote for which boys they should go
