Louis Walsh has spilled the beans on the big bucks he got for being on Celebrity Big Brother. He said, "they really wanted me". The show came back on telly last month after six years.
The former X Factor star was one of the celebs in the house. He made waves on the ITV show by having a go at some stars like Jedward, who he called "vile", and Ronan Keating, saying he's not had a hit since he stopped being his manager.
Louis got to fourth place on the show and now he's chatting about the cash he made and why he decided to join. He told the Sunday Independent that ITV talked him into it.
They told him he'd be safe, have fun, and might even win. But for Louis, winning wasn't everything. He said: "They said they really, really wanted me. They kept on at me, and still I said no, because I was scared. I don't want to be a celebrity. It's a fake world. I have no desire. I like music and staying under the radar."
Then according to the Mirror Louis let slip a big pay cheque from ITV changed his mind. He admitted, "they paid me a lot of money," and then revealed it was nearly one million (£850,000).
Louis wasn't the only one who made a lot of money. His pal from X Factor, Sharon Osbourne, stayed in the Celebrity Big Brother house too.
She was the first "celebrity lodger" there. Sharon was on the show for nine days and we saw her for just over two hours. The showbiz icon was on TV for 8 to 24 minutes each time but she might have got £7,000 for every minute she was on.
