Lorraine Kelly says BBC Strictly bosses 'silly' if Anton Du Beke doesn't replace Bruno Tonioli

Bruno Tonioli has explained his reasons for leaving Strictly Come Dancing behind as the BBC show judge spoke out on the news fellow dancer Anton Du Beke will be replacing him permanently. Along with Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno is one of the original pros who sat on the panel for every season until 2020, when the panel was one down.  Anton, 55, then took over the 2021 season while the Italian star was working in America and earlier this week it was confirmed that the pro dancer would remain as a judge for good.  And now after 18 years on the hugely-popular dance competition, Bruno, 66, admitted he finds the travel too tough. One of Dancing with the Stars‘ most effervescent judges, Bruno Tonioli, has revealed his decision to quit the UK version of the show after 18 years, saying juggling both shows had become “unsustainable”, following the former’s move to Disney Plus.

ITV’s Lorraine Kelly offered up her thoughts on the ongoing court case involving Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney on her show today, telling the two women to “get over themselves”. Rebekah is currently suing her fellow WAG for libel following the infamous 'Wagatha Christie' post back in 2019, which saw Coleen accuse Rebekah of leaking stories from her private Instagram. Rebekah immediately denied the claim and subsequently launched legal action which resulted in seven days at the High Court.

Bruno Tonioli has confirmed that he's left Strictly Come Dancing - and he has given his full backing to his replacement.The 66 year old, who has been a key part of the hit BBC show for 18 years now, missed last year's series due to Covid-related travel restrictions which prevented him from juggling it with his judging responsibilities on Strictly's American counterpart, Dancing With the Stars. Former pro dancer on the show Anton Du Beke sat in his place alongside Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse on the four-strong panel. In an appearance on The One Show tonight, Thursday, May 19, he said he would not be returning and confirmed it was "his decision." "Unfortunately Dancing With The Stars has moved over to Disney+ to stream live," he said.

Lorraine Kelly has made a dig at Boris Johnson after he said he has no idea who she is. The iconic ITV presenter admitted that she wasn’t offended that the Prime Minister didn’t know who she was, but she did mention that they had met before. During an interview with Boris Johnson for Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid mentioned the 62 year old presenter, but she was left baffled when he said he had never heard of her.
