Ruth Langsford left the Loose Women audience and her fellow panellists in stitches after she mistakenly asked Sue and Noel Radford a very intimate question on the ITV show. Host Ruth, 63, was joined by panellists Christine Lampard, Janet Street-Porter, Gloria Hunniford and Brenda Edwards on Tuesday, 16 January, as they chatted to Sue, 48, and Noel, 52, who star in 22 Kids and Counting with their ever-growing brood.
As they discussed the new series of the hit Channel 4 reality show and their lives as parents to 22 children and grandparents to over 13 children, Ruth wondered whether Sue and Noel ever get chance to spend time as a couple. However, she stumbled over her words as she asked the couple, resulting in a hilarious moment that had the audience in hysterics.
"What about you two? Do you ever get some time - well, we know you get alone time, with all of those children!" Ruth said, as everyone in the studio began laughing. Sue and Noel both awkward giggled as Ruth then clarified what she was going to ask, saying: "Do you ever just the two of you, you know, go out for lunch? Or a dinner?" Dad-of-22 Noel confirmed that he and Sue do get to spend time alone without their children, telling the Loose Women panel: "We try to, we went out last week.
It was only for an hour or two but it's just nice to be together on our own." Sue then added: "I think you have to make the time don't you. When you've got a lot of children and you've got a lot going on in your life.
You've got to make time as a couple. You have to." The TV stars are parents to Christopher, 34; Sophie, 29; Chloe, 28; Jack, 26; Daniel, 24; Luke, 23; Millie, 22; Katie, 20; James, 19; Ellie, 18; Aimee, 17; Josh, 16; Max, 14; Tillie, 13; Oscar, 11; Casper, 11;
