Noel and Sue Radford stepped in to help their daughter Chloe and their granddaughter Mila - after the 28-year-old walked out on her partner of three years on a recent episode of 22 Kids & Counting The 28 year old said "things need to change" after arguing with Jake and turning up on her parents' doorstep, while Jake insisted she was "hard to live with". Noel and Sue's third child, Chloe, who has been with her boyfriend for three years and they even share a baby together, recently clashed as Chloe felt Jake wasn't pulling his weight as a parent.
She also felt frustrated that they were living at his mother and father's home rather than in their own place - so her parents, Sue and Noel, stepped in to help and insisted "we're always going to be there." Things escalated during the episode when Chloe showed up at her parents' place in the early hours of the morning with her daughter Mila following the tense row. Sue said: "We didn't really know that Chloe and Jake were unhappy.
I guess you don't really ever know what's going on behind closed doors, do you." While supportive dad Noel added: "As parents we need to be there for them. You know - if they want a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to - it doesn't matter how old they are, we're always going to be there." Shortly before Mila’s first birthday last summer, the row left Chloe contemplating life as a single mother.
Noel, 52, and Sue, 48, were forced to step in when Chloe turned up at their home after the awkward clash but they later helped Jake try to win Chloe back. For two weeks, Chloe lived at her parents house and refused to go home, until Jake attended Mila’s birthday party which was held at Sue and Noel’s house.
