Denise Welch has been slammed by Royal fans after accusing Kate Middleton of "creating a media frenzy".
The Loose Women panellist shared her thoughts on the Princess of Wales' absence from the public eye and the bizarre theories that have emerged on social media. Kate, 42, has been recovering from abdominal surgery and will not be returning to Royal duties until after Easter, the Palace previously stated. However, the lack of updates regarding the Princess' health has sparked concern among some people.
On Monday, 4 March, Denise, 65, discussed Kate, 42, on Loose Women with her fellow panellists Dame Kelly Holmes, Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan.
The ladies shared their opinions on the secrecy surrounding the Princess' health and the undisclosed procedure she underwent. Denise claimed Kate is "creating a media frenzy" and should just "do a photo" to shut down the speculation.
The TV star stated: "The Kate Middleton thing, I have nothing against her, I don’t know her. I hope she’s alright." She went on: "Just tell us what’s the matter.
Just tell us. Just do a photo, whether it’s from your bed or whatever it is. You are creating a media frenzy.
And now the conspiracy theories are starting, which of course they’re going to do. So just say what is the matter with her?" Denise also shared similar comments regarding King Charles, 75.
The monarch announced he'd been diagnosis with cancer back in February but has not stated what type of cancer or the severity. Denise added: "I don’t understand them telling us about Charles’ cancer but not telling us where the cancer is and how he is.
