Coleen Nolan has announced that her daughter, Ciara Fensom, is now engaged.
The Loose Women panelist confirmed on Instagram that her future son-in-law, Max, had asked Ciara to marry him. In a statement, the doting mum wrote: "Well, what can I say... I’m so, so delighted that @maxxinnes has asked my beautiful girl @ciarafensome to marry him.
I love them both sooooo much. Miss them even more! Can’t wait to see them. Off to buy a hat." The star also shared a happy selfie of the couple together, as messages of congratulations flooded in.
Coleen's co-star Denise Welch penned: "Congratulations Ciara," followed by three love heart emojis. Meanwhile, a fan penned: "Great news Coleen you must be delighted for them! Was good seeing you back on Loose Women today." The Nolans' star recently revealed that her 22-year-old daughter Ciara and her now-fiancé Max had purchased a "one-way ticket" out of the UK to travel the world. She admitted to struggling with 'empty nest' syndrome after her daughter moved out of her home to head on the adventure.
Speaking on Loose Women, she admitted that she "can't stop crying" due to missing the young couple, who have not confirmed when they will be returning. Coleen said: "They’ve worked really hard and saved up and I’m so proud of them both and her, but honestly, I just can’t stop crying. "But I’m trying not to do it in front of her because I’m thrilled and I’m proud because what an amazing thing to do.
But it’s like losing my best friend." She also said that Ciara and her boyfriend had been saving up to travel for two years. She added: "She [Ciara] is the mother of the house.
