Loose Women's Charlene White breaks down as she speaks about major family loss

It was an emotional episode of Loose Women on ITV this morning, with host Charlene White breaking down in tears as she spoke about grieving her late mother. Charlene's mum Dorrett died aged 42 after suffering with bowel cancer when the Loose Women star was just 16 years old. Speaking about handling grief on Loose Women, Charlene, 43, became emotional as she remembered her late mother.
"I didn't expect to still get upset about that stuff," she said. The Loose Women's star fellow panellists - which include Judi Love, Olivia Attwood and Linda Robson - rushed to grab Charlene tissues as she continued to chat about her mum. Charlene has opened up about her mum's death in the past, telling ITV's Lorraine last year: "I was 16 and my younger brother was only three when she was diagnosed and she died before she hit 50.
"And I am now at that sweet spot from when she was diagnosed when she was 43, which is what I am now or will be this year, and she died when she was 47," she added. "Part of the reason my mum didn't go to that appointment was because she got caught up with parenting. If she went for that early blood test it could of saved her life."
