Loki season two has drawn in a record audience as its first episode debuted on Disney+ last week - but fans are already complaining.
The Marvel Studios series, starring Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief, became the second-most-viewed season premiere on Disney+ this year, earning a huge 10.9 million views within its first three days of streaming. It was beaten only by Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, which hit Disney+ in March.
The God of Mischief returned in episode one of the second series, which dropped on Friday, October 6 in the UK, where he found himself lost to time and torn, quite literally, between past, present, and future. The new series picks up where the previous one left off, as our antihero-turned-hero finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority.

Along with Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, Hunter B-15, portrayed by Wunmi Mosaku, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse. He's searching for Sylvie, Judge Renslayer and Miss Minutes - played by Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Tara strong respectively.
While fans were ecstatic for the new season to start, many were left disappointed once they'd finished absorbing the first episode. That's because they've only just realised episodes are being released on a weekly basis - not all at once, making binge-watching impossible.
All six episodes are being staggered, with one episode a week releasing each Friday until the season finale on November 10. Taking to Twitter, viewers complained about the 'cruel' schedule
